ACL offer the best uprated dual aluminium/silicone bearings, with uprated oil passages giving better lubrication & help keeping oil pressure higher. ACL recommend that engine bearings & thrust washers are changed every 25k miles to assure that there is minimum main end & rod clearance to the crank, helping avoid bottom end failure which as we all know is an expensive problem, so for a small price its always worth have them changed. These bearings are also a must for anybody forging an engine as Toyota bearings are not made from the same materials, which is worrying as your new internals should be protected as best they can to provide you with your power goals for a longer period of time.
