AIRTEC has released their Astra intercooler kit - a reasonably priced but high quality alternative from cheap eBay kits and more than capable of doing the same if not better job than more expensive intercooler kits. AIRTEC intercooler kits are finished to an extremely high standard.

Great upgrade for all 1.9 CDTi with remapped ECU. Perfect for fast road and track use, as fitted to the AIRTEC demo car.

Dyno Results
Test vehicle fitted with AIRTEC intercooler and dyno'd with standard map, then remapped with AmD Stage1 remap & then dyno'd again.

Standard Map with AIRTEC intercooler:
Run 1 - Intake temperature 115°C / 13°C outlet temperature
Run 2 - Intake temperature 118°C / 18°C outlet temperature
Run 3 - Intake temperature 119°C / 18°C outlet temperature

Stage 1 Map with AIRTEC intercooler:
Run 1 - Intake temperature 128°C / 19°C outlet temperature
Run 2 - Intake temperature 128°C / 23°C outlet temperature
Run 3 - Intake temperature 136°C / 25°C outlet temperature

Over the 3 test runs the AIRTEC intercooler cooled down the charged air temperature by an average of 100°C
