The Japspeed Stainless Steel Sports Cat Downpipe is designed to improve exhaust flow and engine performance on Honda Civic EP3 2.0 Type R models from 2000 to 2005.
Replacing the restrictive factory downpipe and catalytic converter with a larger 2.5-inch stainless steel downpipe allows exhaust gases to flow more efficiently, helping reduce back pressure, improve throttle response and support increased engine power output.
Manufactured from high-quality T304 stainless steel, this one-piece downpipe incorporates a sports catalytic converter, designed to improve exhaust flow compared with the original catalytic converter while retaining a catalytic element.
The downpipe features TIG-welded construction and CNC-machined flanges for strength, durability and corrosion resistance.
Designed as a replacement for the factory downpipe and catalytic converter assembly, the kit includes gaskets for installation.
