The Japspeed Stainless Steel Flexible Downpipe is designed to improve exhaust flow and engine performance on Nissan 200SX S14 SR20DET models from 1993 to 2000.
Replacing the restrictive factory downpipe with a larger 3-inch bore allows exhaust gases to flow more freely through the exhaust system, helping reduce back pressure, improve turbocharger response and support increased engine power output.
Manufactured from high-quality T304 stainless steel, this one-piece downpipe features a 3-inch bore with a 2.75-inch turbo elbow inlet, designed to connect directly to the standard turbo elbow or a compatible aftermarket replacement.
Unlike a conventional rigid downpipe, this version incorporates a flexible joint that allows movement between the front and rear sections of the exhaust system. This helps reduce stress transferred to the turbo elbow and exhaust manifold, reducing the risk of cracking caused by engine movement and vibration.
The downpipe features TIG-welded construction and CNC-machined flanges for strength, durability and corrosion resistance. Gaskets are included for installation.
